Cloud Platform Engineer (DataOps) is a crucial role in the modern tech landscape. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling mission-critical platform services that power next-generation AI and cloud applications.

About This Opportunity

This position offers a unique chance to shape the future of cloud-native data platforms from the ground up, working alongside top cloud and data experts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data pipelines and data engineering concepts, as well as hands-on experience deploying or operating data platform services such as Kafka, Airflow, and Spark.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development & Research
    • Design technical architecture for Cloud Data Platform services, collaborating with the team to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
    • Implement and integrate data platform components, including Kafka, NiFi, Airflow, Spark, Flink, Iceberg, Trino, Superset, and dbt.
    • Build and operate CI/CD systems and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and ArgoCD.
    • Research and propose new technologies to optimize performance and enhance the product.
  • Operations & Managed Services for Customers
    • Support deployment, configuration, and optimization of Cloud Data Platform for customers, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and maintaining service SLA compliance.
    • Operate monitoring, alerting, and logging systems, including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Loki.
    • Participate in training and guiding customers on platform usage, providing exceptional support and guidance throughout the onboarding process.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of experience in DataOps, DevOps, Platform Engineer, or Data Engineer roles.
  • Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
