Job Description

Data Scientist Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to drive business growth by delivering actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data manipulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of predictive models and advanced analytics to uncover user behaviors and content trends.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, reporting tools, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver data-driven strategies.
  • Champion A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to optimize content performance.
  • Contribute to the architecture and integrity of our data warehouse.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis and deliver actionable insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in data science with a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data manipulation.
  • 2+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.
  • Skilled with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker Studio.
  • Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Git, and Agile workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Applied Math, or a related field.
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including: BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Vertex AI, Google Colab, Looker Studio, Analytics 360, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Ad Manager.
  • Apache Airflow.
  • Databricks.
  • Data modeling and database design, including partitioning strategies for large tables.
  • GCP security, monitoring, and maintenance.

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in Machine Learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
