Job Overview

This is a full-time independent contractor role requiring exclusivity to this position and no part-time or freelance work once hired. As a Senior Tax Reviewer, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and overseeing the preparation of individual and business tax returns. You will also communicate directly with clients to clarify information and deliver expert tax guidance.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and oversee the preparation of individual and business tax returns.
  • Communicate directly with clients to clarify information and deliver expert tax guidance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing tax strategies and planning for clients.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate filings.
  • Participate in and help lead an Enrolled Agent (EA) study group.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Preparer.
  • Experience reviewing tax returns.
  • Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with tax planning and explaining strategies in simple terms.
  • Willingness to mentor and support peers.
