We are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead complex tax work, mentor junior staff, and grow into a leadership position over time.

This is a fully remote role with flexible hours during standard seasons. You will have high-impact work with leadership opportunities on the horizon in a modern systems and digital-first environment.

About the Role: As a Senior Tax Manager, you will independently prepare a wide variety of returns (individual, business, trust, non-profit), review junior staff's work and provide constructive feedback, communicate with clients professionally via email regarding documentation and questions, analyze complex tax situations to identify issues, risks, and planning opportunities, use digital tools to manage workflow and client communication seamlessly, collaborate with partners on advanced planning and high-level tax matters, participate in daily team meetings and contribute to planning initiatives, and mentor junior team members and step into growing leadership responsibilities.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Prepare multiple types of tax returns independently - 1040, QuickBooks experience
    • Analyze complex tax situations to identify issues, risks, and planning opportunities
    • Use digital tools to manage workflow and client communication seamlessly
  • Requirements:
    • Strong experience preparing multiple types of tax returns independently - 1040, strong QuickBooks experience
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and proactive problem-solving
    • Exceptional written English communication skills
    • Self-motivated and career-driven—interested in long-term growth
    • Comfortable with digital tools and modern workflow systems
    • Familiarity with ProSeries or similar tax software (a plus)
    • Ready to work extended hours during busy season (January–April)
