We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our data engineering efforts. This role involves overseeing the design, development, and management of data infrastructure and architecture to ensure seamless data collection, storage, and processing.

This position plays a critical part in driving business growth through advanced analytics and decision-making processes. To excel in this role, you must possess strong technical leadership skills, including expertise in Python and SQL for complex data manipulation and application development.

Responsibilities:

  • Technical Visionary: Establish a clear technical direction for data engineering, fostering collaboration between cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions that drive business value.
  • Data Architecture: Design and implement high-performance data platforms to power advanced analytics, machine learning models, and critical business reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a strategic partner to the business, articulating the value and strategy of data initiatives to executive leadership, securing buy-in and driving investment.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and cultivate a world-class data engineering team, promoting a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, with a minimum of 3 years in a technical leadership or management role.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL for complex data manipulation and application development.
  • Deep experience with modern data tools, including data transformation, big data processing, orchestration, and open table formats.
