Job Title: Financial Manager

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to manage day-to-day accounting, job costing, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll for our construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using leading accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
  • Perform job costing and track expenses by project.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and vendor payments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow analysis, and balance sheets.
  • Support estimating processes by reviewing plans, material take-offs, and subcontractor bids.
  • Collaborate with project managers on budget tracking and cost-to-complete analysis.
  • Manage payroll and ensure compliance with construction labor laws.
Requirements:
  • Experience in bookkeeping, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with construction accounting principles and job costing methodologies is essential.
  • Knowledge of estimating processes, bid reviews, or take-offs is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Buildertrend.
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
