The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operational facilities department, including managing facility inventory and assets. They will work with the Property Management Group, vendors, and staff to achieve facilities goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate maintenance activities and inspections required by code or internal standards, including fire systems and emergency power infrastructure.
  2. Ensure the facility is clean and maintained to the highest industry standards.
  3. Review and validate invoices in PeopleSoft prior to payment.
  4. Evaluate and coordinate with General Services staff.
  5. Ensure efficient utilization of company resources and propose changes to improve cost efficiency and overall effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering; a licensed Electrical/Mechanical Engineer is preferred.
  • Have knowledge of basic civil and structural building construction, both interior and exterior.
  • Understand how to design and compute electrical and mechanical plans.
  • Have experience in operation and maintenance for generator sets and UPS units.
  • Be able to evaluate vendor preventive maintenance reports and provide action plans.
