Job Title: Product Strategist

 

A highly influential product strategist will lead product development from start to finish, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams. This role is critical in driving product innovation and success while aligning with company goals and objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering to ensure product strategy aligns with overall business goals.
  • Product Roadmap: Create and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Customer Feedback: Listen to customer feedback and analyze user data to identify product solutions and/or opportunities for improvement.
  • Idea Presentation: Strategize and present product development ideas to stakeholders, as well as proactively update them on progress.
  • Requirements Definition: Create product specifications and user stories, and work closely with engineering and business teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined and understood.
  • Backlog Management: Manage the product backlog and prioritize items based on changing requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the product delivery process by embracing agile principles and methodologies.
  • Mentorship: Coach and mentor other product owners and team members to develop their product management skills.
  • Product Metrics: Acquire a deep understanding of the product, track product metrics to measure success, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience: Possess 4-5 years of successful experience as a product owner or product manager (or any similar role).

  • Data-Driven Solutions: Proven experience delivering data-driven solutions with a strategic mindset.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, prioritizing tasks and delivering products on time and within budget.
  • Software Engineering: Familiarity with software engineering principles and processes.
  • Solid Background: Solid background in delivering software applications or improving existing ones.
  • Prototyping: High degree of proficiency in prototyping and growth-focused development.
  • UX Understanding: Solid understanding of the principles and psychology behind good UX.
