Job Title: Senior Case Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced case manager to join our team. As a Senior Case Manager, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-informed case management and individualized support to individuals in the community under various supervision orders imposed by the courts and Parole Board.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of community safety and risk assessment, as well as experience working with diverse populations, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You will be required to consult with relevant stakeholders and organizations to address the over-representation of Indigenous people within the criminal justice system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management services to adults subject to community orders, focusing on safety, risk assessment, and rehabilitation.
  • Operate within assessed risk and need, maintaining high standards of assessment to support effective supervision.
  • Facilitate reintegration and improve rehabilitation outcomes for individuals under community-based orders.
  • Develop and maintain culturally informed practices, consulting with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and organizations to address systemic disparities.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a valid driver's licence (C class Australian licence) is mandatory, as travel across various locations is required.
  • May be required to work outside normal hours and travel to other locations, or temporarily work from an alternate location.
  • Individuals employed on a permanent or temporary basis will be required to complete Certificate IV in Correctional Practice (Community). All activities and assessments associated with the Certificate IV must be completed within 12 months of commencing employment, and certification achieved within 18 months.
