We're seeking a skilled copywriter to join our team.As an instructional designer and copywriter, you will craft compelling content that informs and instructs across various media platforms.Your primary responsibility will be writing clear, engaging copy for learning modules, skills assessments, surveys, articles, whitepapers, and other materials.You will interpret content briefs to understand assigned tasks and follow up where more information is needed.You'll engage with subject matter experts (SMEs) and teams to understand the purpose of each asset, key takeaways, calls-to-action, and the behavior it aims to influence.In addition to adhering to client brand and editorial guidelines, you'll apply feedback from the client team and quality control editors.To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities, with strong attention to detail.A strong interest in education, adult-learning, and crime and fraud is essential.Transforming content briefs into engaging courseware or narratives requires a unique blend of creativity and technical skill.Excellent research skills and a natural curiosity to learn new topics are also crucial.You should have experience facilitating interviews and workshops with SMEs to gather required input for compelling materials.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with content and learning management systems like Xyleme and Articulate 360 are necessary.Strong time management and organizational skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are vital for success in this role.You must be able to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.A minimum of 5+ years of experience in copywriter/content creator roles is required.A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or equivalent experience is preferred.Reliable home internet service and willingness to work a 3rd shift that overlaps with U.S. business day are additional requirements.
