Quantity Surveyor Role

About the Opportunity

As a mid-senior level Quantity Surveyor, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional quality commercial and residential projects. You will be responsible for cost planning, measurement, and change management for all internal works on a flagship project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake bulk measurement of all internal works to establish accurate baseline quantities.
  • Manage ongoing cost tracking and variation assessments as apartment configurations and designs change.
  • Prepare detailed bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Liaise closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure cost control.
  • Use advanced estimating software to measure and manage quantities.
  • Interpret and verify architectural and engineering drawings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Significant experience in Australian construction and quantity surveying/estimation for residential projects.
  • Expertise in estimating software such as CostX / Bluebeam / Planswift.
  • Excellent English communication skills – verbal and written.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work independently within a team environment.
