Financial Services Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Professional to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and preparing financial reports.

  • Maintain accounting files and records as assigned.
  • Analyze financial data and trends by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information for accuracy.
  • Prepare transactions (e.g. journal entries, cash disbursements, cash receipts) and account reconciliations.
  • Ensure financial data is accurate and complete before processing in financial systems.
  • Help review and maintain accounting procedures, recommending opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank accounts.
  • Meet all monthly, quarterly, and annual process and reporting deadlines.
  • Provide support with budget versus actual reporting and variance analysis as needed.
  • Proactively communicate potential issues to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Industry experience preferred.
  • Required strong attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of GAAP and FAR regulations.
  • Financial systems experience preferred.
  • Client focused, always striving to provide exceptional service.
  • High levels of integrity, always acting with ethics and fairness.
  • Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together towards technical excellence.
