Fire Alarm Service Manager/Customer Service Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized professional to lead our fire alarm service operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of technicians, coordinating schedules, and ensuring prompt responses to customer inquiries.

  • Answer the service number and assist customers with fire alarm-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Respond to off-hours answering service calls, ensuring emergency service needs are met with efficiency and expertise
  • Schedule service calls based on priority and availability, utilizing effective time management skills to meet deadlines
  • Coordinate and schedule technicians, deploying resources efficiently to ensure optimal results
  • Provide customers with timely notifications and updates on service status, fostering strong relationships and trust
  • Assess fire alarm system issues remotely, determining whether a technician needs to be dispatched to resolve the issue
  • Make informed decisions on which technician to schedule based on the complexity of the issue, exercising sound judgment and technical expertise
  • Maintain detailed service records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices
