Account Receivable Specialist

Manage accounts receivable and collections to optimize cash flow and minimize losses. Process customer payments, handle adjustments and deductions, and collaborate with internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and record customer payments accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports to provide insights into outstanding balances and collection performance.
  • Communicate and negotiate with customers regarding adjustments, deductions, and delinquent accounts.
  • Collaborate with finance and sales teams to align on collection strategies and ensure accurate accounting practices.
  • Manage accounts in default, perform recovery workouts, and implement strategies to recover outstanding amounts while minimizing losses.
  • Develop and implement policies for managing delinquent accounts to ensure effective collection practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • 0-3 years of relevant experience in collections or accounts receivable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and financial software.
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
