Senior Web Developer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to elevate our digital presence and drive exceptional results.

About the Role

As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end website solutions that exceed expectations. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving design and performance, turning traffic into enquiries and loyal clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the evolution of our WordPress ecosystem by building new features, templates, and custom plugins, improving performance and security, and maintaining reliable deployments
  • Extend beyond WordPress using modern stacks where appropriate, such as React, Next.js, headless CMS, custom APIs, and integrations with booking, CRM, and payments
  • Drive SEO outcomes by implementing technical SEO, schema markup, Core Web Vitals improvements, site architecture, internal linking, and content templates that rank and convert
  • Lift visual design and UX by producing clean component libraries, accessible UI, and mobile-first experiences that are fast and delightful
  • Improve conversion rates by creating testable landing pages, running A/B tests, tracking funnels, and using analytics to make evidence-based decisions
  • Ensure accessibility and quality by following WCAG 2.2 AA, writing maintainable code, implementing automated checks and CI/CD
  • Own telemetry and reliability by setting up monitoring and error tracking, managing hosting and CDN, and keeping environments healthy and secure
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of WordPress, PHP, custom themes, ACF, Gutenberg, and WooCommerce
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS, Tailwind or similar utility CSS, and component-driven design
  • Experience with DevOps and hosting, Git and GitHub, CI/CD, AWS or similar, Docker, and Cloudflare
  • Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools, such as GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, Hotjar or similar, A/B testing tools, Rank Math or Yoast
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, image optimization, caching, lazy loading, database tuning, and Core Web Vitals
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in healthcare, NDIS, LMS platforms, and secure form workflows
  • Design literacy and comfort moving between Figma and code
  • Data skills for dashboards and marketing automations through APIs and webhooks
