Digital Insurance Project Manager

An experienced Digital Insurance Project Manager is needed to oversee and manage the implementation of new and/or existing projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships to drive project success.
  • Lead project planning sessions, ensuring alignment between internal teams and client staff.
  • Support solution proposals for client pursuits, creating compelling value propositions.
  • Participate in proposal and proof-of-concept processes, driving design, submission, and review.
  • Collaborate on contract creation and related communication with clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities for existing clients, securing their long-term business.
  • Monitor project progress, adapting work as required to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure projects meet established timelines, maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Host regular project reviews, providing key metrics on team and project status using industry-standard metrics.
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and manage issues, risks, assumptions, and dependencies, mitigating potential roadblocks.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive to lead transformative projects in the insurtech industry, demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is highly desirable.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of success.
  • Insurance domain knowledge is essential, with a deep understanding of the industry's complexities.
  • Strong client-facing experience is necessary, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Technical skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Experience seeing projects through their full life cycle is crucial, from initiation to completion.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and resourcefulness are vital, enabling effective collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline, delivering results-oriented solutions.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a willingness to take ownership and initiative.
