As a key member of our finance team, we are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our organization.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for managing various accounting processes, including accounts payable and receivable, tax compliance, financial statement preparation, and payroll processing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
  • Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local and regional tax laws.
  • Conduct audits to ensure financial statements meet regulatory standards.
  • Maintain and update accounting records and systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local laws.
  • Generate periodic financial reports and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Handle payroll processing, ensuring timely disbursements and tax compliance.
  • Research and apply regional accounting and tax updates to ensure company compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience with exposure to regional tax regulations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regional compliance laws.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Excellent English communication skills: reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
