Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled MPFP Quantity Surveyor to perform quantity take-offs, cost estimations, and project take-offs for construction projects. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working in the construction and engineering industry, particularly in MPFP projects. Proficiency in Planswift and Bluebeam is essential for accurate measurements and cost estimations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed analysis of MPFP design plans to ensure accurate cost estimations and alignment with project requirements.
  • Use Planswift and Bluebeam to extract quantities from construction drawings and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure all cost estimates are precise and aligned with project requirements.
  • Prepare and analyze detailed cost reports, providing clear breakdowns of material and labor requirements.
  • Support the procurement process by providing input on materials and resource quantities for MPFP works.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents, bids, and contract management for MPFP systems.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mechanical, Plumbing & Fire Protection (MPFP) systems within the construction and engineering industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Planswift and Bluebeam for measurement, take-offs, and cost estimation.
  • In-depth knowledge of MPFP systems, including mechanical systems (HVAC), plumbing, fire protection, and associated equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.

Location: Remote work opportunity, but occasional travel to project sites may be required.
