Senior Security Analyst

Job Description

As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing client security systems including endpoint protection, email security, log aggregation, network security, identity threat protection, dark web protection, data loss prevention, and vulnerability scanners. You will also respond to and manage security incidents, monitor evolving security threats, and provide detailed analysis for security communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain client security systems.
  • Respond to security alerts and perform remediation actions to mitigate or eliminate security threats.
  • Analyze vulnerability scans and reports to provide remediation plans to clients.
  • Research new security trends and keep up-to-date on security best practices.

Additionally, you will work closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide recommendations for improving security posture and adhering to compliance standards. You will also assist clients with the implementation and maintenance of security solutions and perform security maturity and posture assessments against client environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment.
  • Experience with cloud security, email security solutions, network security devices, and platforms.
  • Excellent analytical skills to analyze security breaches and trace sources of attacks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with highly regulated industries such as healthcare and financial services.
  • Familiarity with SOC compliance standards and experience with SOC compliance assessments.
