This role supports all Housekeeping and Laundry operations, ensuring an exceptional experience for our Guests.

  • The Housekeeping Attendant will delegate tasks efficiently between team members to ensure timely completion of work.
  • They will monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members, focusing on training and teamwork.
  • Providing excellent guest service is paramount in this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, aligning with hotel brand standards.
  • Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members, emphasizing training and teamwork.
  • Deliver excellent guest service.
  • Work closely with Floor Housekeeping Supervision to manage availability and release of Rooms for Guest Service.
  • Manage controls of the Housekeeping department, including employee frequency, master key releases, incident booking, uniform and linen management, and more.
  • Regularly check guest information in CRM and ensure timely preferences and requests are met.
  • Coordinate flowers for special occasions (marriage, death, maternity) and provide embroidery services for special linens (wedding, pampering).
  • Oversee monthly Lost and Found and donations.
  • Inspect uniforms and send them for cleaning and/or repair.
  • Control document and personnel traffic within the department, releasing laundry linen daily.
  • Distribute guest clothing released from laundry services daily.
  • Closure of laundry expenses and provision of same monthly.
  • Provide support for Laundry Attendants during absences or holidays.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Planning and Organizing skills are essential for this role.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration.
  • Prior experience in Laundry operations is preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills are crucial for teamwork and guest interaction.
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
  • A commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Excellent standards of cleanliness.
