Job Title: Workday Certified Time and Absence Consultant

This role involves ensuring successful deployment of Workday solutions by architecting, configuring, and testing them to meet client-specific needs. The successful candidate will have expertise in the Workday Payroll product suite, particularly with Absence & Time Tracking.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather and document client business requirements, design and configure the Workday solution, demonstrate configurations through prototype systems, assist in testing the Workday solution, and complete knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Work with confidential client data conversion teams to help convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Assist the integration consulting team in configuring and testing integrations between Workday and other third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model while coaching others on product knowledge.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, collaborate effectively, and synergistically work on team-based projects.
  • Work with team members to address complex tasks/requirements when other team members need support.
  • Facilitate clients' intellectual and practical adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Maintain clients' ongoing satisfaction, ensuring Intecrowd is referenceable and referable once in production.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers keeping them apprised of overall project status.
  • Innovate and suggest new approaches and tools to deploy Workday efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain Workday certifications and qualifications.
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems).
  • Demonstrate computational thinking, identify problem components, analyze patterns, remove inefficient configurations or processes, and construct algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs.
  • Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst your colleagues, mentees, and managers - serve as a professional role model.
  • Provide insightful status reports to project managers that highlight risks to project health and improvements in client adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Workday Time Tracking Certification
  • 4+ years configuring and implementing a combination of Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) Solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
  • Previous experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to effectively manage against timelines and goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM/Payroll projects simultaneously a plus
  • Expected travel is +/-30% depending on project
