Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting business decision-making.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Lodge BAS, IAS, and GST reports in compliance with ATO regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of income tax returns for businesses and individuals.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and accounting standards (AASB, IFRS).
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external stakeholders.
  • Improve financial processes and internal controls for efficiency.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Australian accounting experience.

Technical Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax laws, BAS/GST, and ATO compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Outlook, and Excel) is a must.

Soft Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
