Job Title: Financial Controller Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller Assistant to join our team. As an integral part of our finance department, this role will play a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.

  • This position will work closely with the company controller to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly close process and preparation of financial statements.
  • The successful candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, consolidation, and GAAP accounting, as well as proficiency in MS Excel and integrated accounting systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Salesforce/Accounting Seed.

About the Role:

As a Financial Controller Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  1. Assisting in all aspects of the monthly close process, including account analysis, bank reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.
  2. Working closely with the company controller to prepare and upload TB to the FRP managed through Vena consolidation software each month.
  3. Budgeting and forecasting - assisting in the preparation of budgets for each entity and consolidated basis.
  4. Providing support in managing entities recently acquired by the company to manage their monthly close, bank reconciliations, budgets, and internal controls.
  5. Performing other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting and be a licensed CPA.
  • At least 5 years' experience in finance or accounting department at a mid-size to large entity with multiple entities.
  • Experience in Consolidation and GAAP accounting.
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge.
  • Experience with integrated accounting systems such as SAP, NetSuite, or Salesforce/Accounting Seed.
  • Private Equity reporting experience.
  • Knowledge/experience of QuickBooks.
