Job Opportunity

Our Manufacturing Development Engineers play a key role in driving new product development projects, focusing on process and tolerance control.

Responsibilities
  • Develop end-to-end manufacturing processes from raw materials to final assemblies, ensuring best practicable and cost-effective methods.
  • Concept design and validation for overall assembly processes and tooling, as well as process development experimentation.
  • Lead technical teams for process development, tooling design and qualification, issue identification, and problem-solving.
  • Develop platform manufacturing processes.
  • Provide detailed process definitions and requirements to the automation team for automated machine development.
  • Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and cost feasibility.
  • Launch products on time with cross-functional teams using quality control tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-precision connector assembly process development or automation development.
  • Data-driven issue finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Rich shopfloor experience.
  • Sensitivity to product costs and ability to drive cost reduction through manufacturing process development and design optimisation.
  • Knowledge of quality control and quality issue analysis and improvement.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Overseas working experience is an advantage.
