Job Title: Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. A Drafter is responsible for creating technical drawings from hand sketches provided by designers.

  • Create detailed drawings of buildings, spaces, and other architectural elements.
  • Refine and format CAD drawings for presentation, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Edit schematic drawings based on feedback from clients or internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create technical drawings from basic to advanced complexity, based on hand sketches provided by designers
  2. Refine and format CAD drawings for client presentation, aligning with company standards
  3. Edit schematic drawings based on markup feedback
  4. Complete detailed design documentation post-design development, including:
    • Dimensions
    • Door & window sizes
    • Electrical plans
  5. Revise floor plans and layouts in response to redline markups
  6. Ensure precision and consistency in every drawing update

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Drafter or in a similar architectural/technical drawing role
  • Strong command of AutoCAD and familiarity with PDF markups
  • Ability to interpret hand-drawn sketches and translate them into precise CAD files
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
