Senior Backend Developer


We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team in the development and evolution of our platform.


Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust backend solutions using Python services (Flask, FastAPI), Python-based GraphQL servers, and ORM SQL (SQLAlchemy).
  • Collaborate with product management, UI/UX designers, and engineering leads to implement technical specifications.
  • Implement scalable data models and APIs to support complex business logic.
  • Optimize application performance across multiple applications.
  • Apply type safety and code reusability best practices.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest tools and techniques, recommending them for incorporation into our platform.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in backend development.
  • Proficiency in Python and related frameworks (Flask, FastAPI).
  • Experience with SQL databases, ORM technologies (SQLAlchemy), and GraphQL (Python-based servers).
  • Understanding of state management patterns, testing frameworks, and deployment strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for technical discussions, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ability to collaborate synchronously with team members during core hours while respecting work-life balance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in advertising technology or marketing analytics.
  • Knowledge of budget management and financial systems.
  • Experience developing multi-app workspaces or monorepos.
  • Familiarity with UI component libraries (Mantine) and data visualization libraries.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
  • Experience with real-time data processing systems and security best practices.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or technical community.
  • Some experience (1+ years) in team leadership or people management in a technical context.
