Warranty Claim Specialist Role

The role of Warranty Claim Specialist is crucial to the efficient operation of our organization. As a key team member, you will be responsible for managing warranty claims from inception to resolution, fostering strong communication with clients and suppliers, and resolving conflicts in a professional manner.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate warranty claims from initial report to closure, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Maintain open communication channels with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their concerns promptly.
  • Liaise with suppliers to guarantee vehicle repairs are carried out efficiently, within quoted costs, and adhere to technical guidelines.
  • Offer support to the department in conflict resolution escalation and assist with prioritizing client repair tracking and follow-up.
  • Provide assistance to clients and other departments regarding vehicle-related inquiries.
  • Foster innovative repair solutions that balance owner satisfaction and business expenditure considerations.
  • Negotiate optimal outcomes for client satisfaction and resolve conflicts effectively.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
  • Diploma or certificate-level qualification in business or tourism.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in guest services or customer service.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Proven ability to handle customer expectations and conflicts.
  • Experience in supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic approach.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization abilities, with the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
