Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team in Taguig. This full-time on-site role involves maintaining the performance and security of Oracle databases.

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering databases, managing replication processes, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring database security. Strong collaboration with other IT staff and adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administering multiple Oracle databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Implementing and managing data replication processes to maintain data consistency and integrity
  • Troubleshooting database issues promptly and efficiently, with a focus on minimizing downtime
  • Developing and maintaining database security protocols and practices to safeguard sensitive data
  • Maintaining close collaboration with other IT staff to ensure effective knowledge sharing and process improvement
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration and strong understanding of database concepts
  • Experience with Replication techniques and processes, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex database issues quickly
  • Expertise in Database Security protocols and practices, including encryption and access control
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with relevant experience preferred
  • Professional certification in Oracle Database Administration is an asset
