Accountant Job Description

As an experienced Intermediate Accountant, you will work on preparing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents to review stage with minimal review points. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and complete Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, BAS, and IAS to review stage with high accuracy.
  • Work across different entity types including Individuals, Companies, Trusts, and Family Groups.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Apply knowledge of Div7A, FBT, and CGT in preparing accurate tax outcomes for clients.
  • Liaise with managers and clients where required, ensuring all deliverables are completed within deadlines.
