Real Estate Financial Manager
About the Position:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee financial operations for short-term rental properties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks for multiple short-term rental properties, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliations of bank accounts, merchant accounts, and booking platform payouts.
- Monitor income, occupancy taxes, fees, and commissions from various rental platforms to optimize financial performance.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports, providing actionable insights for business growth.
- Collaborate with property managers or hosts to ensure budget adherence and expense tracking.
- Administer accounts payable/receivable and guarantee timely payments to vendors.
- Maintain precise records for audits and tax filings.
- Assist in developing budgets, forecasts, and financial plans tailored to seasonal rental cycles.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in the short-term rental or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with short-term rental tools is beneficial.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple properties/accounts efficiently.
