Job Description

As a content strategist, you will be responsible for auditing and optimizing client's content marketing strategy for their Japan website. This includes providing strategic and technical guidance for content creation, curation, and publishing, as well as writing, editing, and localizing high-quality Japanese-language copy for web pages, campaigns, and digital assets.

You will work closely with design, UX, and development teams to optimize content structure for readability and engagement, and support SEO optimization and accessibility compliance for Japanese content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Audit and optimize client's content marketing strategy for Japan website
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance for content creation, curation, and publishing
  • Write, edit, and localize high-quality Japanese-language copy for web pages, campaigns, and digital assets
  • Work closely with design, UX, and development teams to optimize content structure for readability and engagement
  • Support SEO optimization and accessibility compliance for Japanese content
Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Japanese and English
  • Experience with copy manuscripts (medical content) and component mapping in Japanese
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

This is a contract position with regular working hours (Japan timezone) and overlap with the US timezone once a week for stand-up meetings.
