Job Overview

The Senior Genesys Cloud Engineer will play a pivotal role in architecting, implementing, and maintaining our contact center and unified communication platform.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex business communication system issues and provide high-level technical consultation support to clients globally.
  • Provide expert configuration programming changes support to internal and external customers, including project leadership and technical expertise.
  • Deliver process training and knowledge transfer sessions to new joiners and external teams.
  • Create job aids, master operating procedures, and deliver technical knowledge transfers as needed.
  • Implement, demonstrate, and deliver solutions remotely or on-site, handling technical escalations and issues escalated by team members.
Qualifications
  • 5-8+ years of experience with Genesys Cloud and a minimum of 5-7 years' experience with other telephony platforms.
  • Proven expertise in Genesys Cloud implementation, contact center operations, integrations, reporting, analytics, quality management, call routing, performance management, email, chat, social media, co-browse, IVR, voice and digital bots, and AppFoundry partners.
  • Understanding of Genesys products and multiple use cases across various industries.
  • Able to create private and public SIP trunks with multiple carriers and third-party ACDs, utilizing ITIL service delivery models and SLAs.
  • Experience supporting global customers in a 24/7 environment, securing contact center platforms using security techniques in PCI and HIPAA environments.
