Financial Services Manager

The role of a Financial Services Manager encompasses handling finance-related queries, daily receipting and bank account administration. Tasks include generating financial reviews and reports, managing cash flow and preparing year-end financial checks and accrual journals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage finance queries in an efficient manner
  • Daily receipting, monthly bank reconciliation and bank account administration
  • Investment and maturity communication for term deposits
  • Generation of financial reviews and reports
  • Forecasting and management of monthly cash flow
  • Year-end financial checks and accrual journals preparation
  • Preparation of financial year budget
  • Issue contribution levies to relevant parties
  • Coordinating audits and liaising with external auditors on audit queries
  • On/Off boarding new/lost business activities
  • Quarterly BAS preparation and review
  • Yearly Tax preparation and review
  • Processing Management Agreements (update systems and process fee corrections)
  • Review bot exception reports and complete tasks manually
  • Coordinate Body Corporate loans and its management
  • Provide explanations or relevant information to various stakeholders
  • Attend finance meetings with clients as required
  • Miscellaneous on-charging to relevant parties
  • Process payroll and superannuation for a building manager employed by OC
  • Ad hoc bank deposit recall and dishonoured payment investigation
Requirements
  • Qualification in accounting or similar discipline
  • At least 4 years or more experience in accounting
  • Experience in budget preparation
  • Understanding of financial statements (profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow)
  • Experience reviewing financial statements and communicating results to interested parties
  • Account reconciliation experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Knowledge and previous experience in Income Tax and BAS desirable
