The role of a Sourcing and Category Management Specialist involves overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from inception to execution, with electronic storage. This encompasses negotiation, finalization, and amendments to contracts related to sourcing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contract Management: Negotiation, finalization, and amendment of contracts related to sourcing, ensuring compliance with legal terms and conditions.
  • Contract Lifecycle Management: Support for the setup and management of the entire contract lifecycle, collaborating with the Legal function on standard contract templates, and ensuring electronic storage of contracts.
  • Sourcing Process Adherence: Adherence to and following the sourcing process and relevant policies.
  • RFP Process Management: Management and execution of the RFP (Request For Proposal) process in the Ariba system, preparation of documentation of requirements and questions for vendors, obtaining responses, and evaluation with stakeholders.
  • Trend Analysis and Reporting: Production of analysis and reports on trends in category spend, identification of opportunities for improvement.
  • Category Management Information Maintenance: Maintenance and updating of Category Management information in SharePoint/Intranet, description of processes, and guidance of stakeholders.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration or any related course, preferably with Procurement qualification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply). Proven experience in Procurement, Sourcing, and/or Contract Management is required, along with analytical and problem-solving skills combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledgeable in Procurement sourcing systems, especially Ariba. Amenable to mid-shift schedule (2pm to 11pm).
