Distributed Systems Cloud Engineer

The BootStack team is looking for a skilled Cloud Engineering Manager to oversee the design and operation of modern distributed systems on private infrastructure for customers. This role involves managing a growing engineering team to optimize the quality and velocity of both development and operations.

- Managing a team of engineers to implement disciplined engineering and operations processes\
- Representing the team with stakeholders, customers, and external teams\
- Ensuring proper team focus on priorities, milestones, and deliverables\
- Working to meet service level agreements with customer deployments around the globe\
- Collaborating with customers, product engineering, and operations to achieve success\
- Identifying and measuring team health indicators\
- Implementing technical solutions to improve the efficiency of the engineering process\
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technology and best practices in cloud computing and engineering management
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar languages. They will also possess strong communication and cooperation skills, as well as experience working in and managing distributed teams.
\A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Additionally, relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Developer can be beneficial.
