Our ideal candidate is a skilled system software engineer who thrives in cloud-native software and Linux environments.

We are seeking an experienced professional to collaborate proactively with our distributed team, select, integrate and package best-of-breed tooling with Ubuntu to improve developer and operator experience with Go.

The successful candidate will write high-quality code to create new features, debug issues, and produce high-quality code to fix them. They will also review code produced by other engineers and discuss ideas to find good solutions.

The ideal candidate has relevant Go experience, preferably in cloud-native software and Linux, and should be able to package software for Debian and Ubuntu. They must also have a long history of using Linux and an exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.

They should possess a strong undergraduate degree in a technical subject or a compelling narrative about their alternative chosen path, love technology, and working with brilliant people. The ideal candidate is passionate, curious, flexible, articulate, and accountable.

We value soft skills and are looking for someone who is passionate, enterprising, thoughtful, and self-motivated. The ability to travel internationally twice a year for company events up to two weeks long is a requirement.

Key Responsibilities
