Customer Service Representative - Home Loans

">About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative - Home Loans. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our existing home loan customers, responding to their queries and requests in a timely and efficient manner.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Answering large volumes of incoming calls and email enquiries from customers and brokers
  • Identifying and fulfilling customers' needs to achieve satisfaction and retention
  • Processing requests for statements and other documentation efficiently and timely
  • Handling customer and broker requests including repayments, balances and payout figures, Direct Debit amendments, redraw requests
  • Processing rate review requests for retention purposes and identifying opportunities for customer retention
  • Maintaining accurate records and notes of customer interactions and document filing
  • Providing solutions and alternatives to meet customer needs
  • FOLLOWING communication procedures, policies, and guidelines
  • Recommending process improvements through workflow monitoring and feedback
  • Supporting team members and other departments
  • Maintaining security and confidentiality of all personal and corporate information
  • Performing effectively in a high-pressure environment while contributing to a fun, energised, and dynamic work culture
">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to thrive and grow in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the financial services mortgage industry, preferably in the non-bank lending sector
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Customer Service environment
  • Good understanding of home loan repayments, including but not limited to, direct debit requirements, redraw, and offset accounts
  • High degree of attention to detail with excellent customer service knowledge
  • High degree of competency in language, computer, and web applications
