About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Product & Packaging Development Specialist with experience in Product Development. As a Product & Packaging Development Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth product development lifecycle, managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and analyzing financial data to ensure profitable partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, including direct communication, sample sourcing, pricing negotiation, and timeline management to ensure suppliers meet required deadlines.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct cost and margin analysis for new and ongoing products using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure profitable outcomes.
  • Product Development Support: Work closely with the product development team to understand product requirements and ensure activities align with product development timelines and budgets.
  • Sourcing New Suppliers: Identify and source new suppliers to meet business needs by researching and evaluating potential suppliers for new or existing projects.
  • Timeline Management: Manage timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all new products launched per season.
  • Contract Negotiation: Ensure the production team conducts contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Documentation & Tracking: Ensure all internal documents are up-to-date at all times for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Internal & External Communication: Provide clear and timely communication with all internal stakeholders for updates, decisions, and deadlines.
