Job Description

The Operations Manager (Project Manager – Trade Relations) plays a crucial role in planning, directing, and coordinating projects and programs for the Trade Relations department at KMC Solutions. This individual is responsible for ensuring that project objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and that project goals and requirements are met within schedule, budget, and scope.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Project Initiation

Define project objectives, scope, and charter. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct technical analysis, and resolve problems.

Project Planning/Development

Create detailed project plans with deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation. Work with stakeholders to identify staffing needs and assign responsibilities.

Project Production/Execution

Conduct regular status meetings, track progress, and mitigate risks. Resolve issues collaboratively, provide technical guidance, and ensure task completion.

Project Monitoring/Controls

Track project status and address constraints (scope, cost, timeline, resources, and risks). Communicate updates via reports and ensure all documentation is complete and approved throughout the project lifecycle.

Project Closure

Ensure successful project delivery, including documentation of lessons learned. Coordinate with departments for project handover.


Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years' experience with Project Management using industry best practices for project methodology.
  • Required experience in PBM, pharmaceutical, or managed health care industry.
  • Prior experience in Trade Relations and Pharmacy Rebate Programs is a plus.
  • Must have experience in all phases of project management lifecycle.
