Inventory Management Specialist

The Inventory Management Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring business continuity and scale with customers' needs. This position involves significant execution responsibilities, as well as participation in process sustainability and improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate weekly Oracle Supply Planning Forecast reports to review inventory and consumption trends.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and make informed decisions.
  • Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and highlight abnormalities for reconciliations.
  • Coordinate weekly replenishment orders (PR/PO) with suppliers on delivery lead times and follow up on timely delivery of goods.
  • Manage purchase orders, track and receive deliveries, correct invoicing by suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate inventory reports and provide analysis to Team Lead.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, reviewing monthly price masters and highlighting any abnormal price surges.
  • Address and resolve issues related to Purchase Orders delivery, product quality, discrepancies on delivered/invoiced quantities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the inventory management function.
  • Implement and monitor new procedures and technologies to enhance inventory control.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory management or a similar role.
  • Experience in supplier management, purchasing, and sourcing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
