Roma Education Expert Consultancy Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Roma education expert to support the development of resources and assist review, analysis, and capacity building activities envisaged with a project aimed at strengthening the capacity of education authorities and stakeholders to effectively implement desegregation of Roma children in education.

The expected outcome is to provide Roma children with high-quality education enabling them to have better skills, knowledge, and equal opportunities. The consultant will work closely with the Regional Education Specialist in UNICEF ECARO and other stakeholders to achieve this goal.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct an EU/international review of good practices in addressing education segregation for Roma children and promoting inclusive education.
  2. Develop a capacity building toolkit for regional and national stakeholders and deliver workshops.
  3. Provide technical expertise to project activities based on the findings of the review and toolkit.
  4. Support presentation of project deliverables for events.
