Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to SME clients in Australia. This role involves overseeing a portfolio of clients, leading a team of accountants, and striving for exceptional client satisfaction.

Through our proprietary software and AI technology, we aim to make back-office operations seamless for micro SMEs. Our platform enables entrepreneurs to focus on growing their businesses and serving customers. We operate in Corporate Secretary, Accounting & Bookkeeping, and FinTech payments, with offices globally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert accounting and tax services to Australian startup and SME clients.
  • Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Prepare and submit tax returns.
  • Supervise and control remote bookkeeping clients.
  • Advise and engage with clients on various accounting and taxation matters.
  • Hire, train, nurture, and grow a team of accountants.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing a team of accountants servicing Australian clients.
  • Experience in team management – hiring, training, and nurturing a team of ambitious accountants.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of SME clients with scope ranging from bookkeeping to taxation services.
  • Excellent command of client communication and delivery organization.
