As a Junior Financial Analyst working remotely, you will play a key role in supporting our financial planning and analysis team. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in data gathering, development, and consolidation of annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will work closely with cost center managers to gather feedback and address concerns, as well as prepare management reports related to monthly variance analysis.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting near- and long-term profit and loss forecasting
  • Aiding in financial budget/forecast revisions focusing on cost reduction
  • Preparing and processing monthly budgets to actual review reports for cost center managers

You will also participate in revenue and cost forecasting, analyzing the economic implications of operational drivers, and recommending actions based on findings.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
  • One to three years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
