Job Overview:

An Accounting Professional plays a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of an organization by ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, processing transactions, and adhering to accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, proficiency in automated financial systems, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain general ledger accounts, prepare trial balances, and reconcile entries
  • Process vendor and customer invoices, and maintain financial transaction records
  • Conduct account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Perform activities related to accounts payable and receivable, including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
  • Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents and reports
  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed within specified timeframes and with minimal errors
  • Audit invoicing and payment activities for accuracy and completeness
  • Complete required tax reporting promptly and prepare tax provision schedules

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field; CPA designation a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting/bookkeeping; BPO experience a plus but not required
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks, Sage 50, ERP, and SAP; solid understanding of full accounting cycle, reconciliation, and audit
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure
