Job Description

We seek a consultant to support the implementation of a project promoting women's empowerment and peace in the Bangsamoro region.

About the Project

The project is a two-year initiative that aims to improve conditions for peace and stability by strengthening the rights claiming of women in all their intersecting and diverse identities towards inclusive, gender-responsive, and accountable governance.

Scope of Work
  • Conduct an endline study to assess the extent to which the project has achieved its intended outcomes and impact.
  • Develop a research report that includes an executive summary, brief background on the project, concise discussion on the endline study – rationale, objectives, and methods, key findings, and recommendations.
  • Presentation deck used by consultants in presenting the key findings to partners and stakeholders during the sensemaking may be revised and submitted as part of outputs.
  • Endline results brief providing a brief backgrounder on the project and baseline research, outline its key findings, and highlight recommendations or implications for programming, policy influencing, and future learning and/or research initiatives.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to principles and values related to gender justice and women's rights.
  • Perform priority tasks related to competencies as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in conducting research studies and developing reports.
  • Strong understanding of gender justice and women's rights.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
