Business Intelligence Developer

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end Business Intelligence (BI) solutions to elevate the organization's analytical capabilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing scalable and usable BI solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Building, optimizing, and maintaining ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses.
  • Creating, publishing, and managing interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for decision-making.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years' hands-on experience as a BI Developer or in a similar analytics-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency in BI visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, and working with large, complex datasets across multiple database platforms.
  • Proven experience with ETL tools and processes, including data cleansing, transformation, and automation workflows.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and best practices for database design.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data solutions and their integration capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex datasets and deliver clear, meaningful insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical BI specifications and deliverables.
  • Writing, debugging, and optimizing complex SQL queries to efficiently retrieve and manipulate large datasets from relational and non-relational databases.
  • Monitoring and ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across BI platforms.
  • Conducting in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and key performance indicators that support strategic objectives.
