Remote Contact Center Agent Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Remote Contact Center Agents. As a key member of our disaster relief efforts, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients in need.

This is a temporary, remote position contingent on hurricane disaster relief needs. You will be working independently, but as part of a larger team, to ensure that our customers receive the best possible support during a difficult time.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to apply the latest customer service techniques to resolve customer inquiries efficiently. Additionally, you should be able to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with service inquiries via phone, email, or chat
  • Learn common requests and solutions to improve customer satisfaction
  • Utilize effective communication skills to de-escalate customer dissatisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows OS
  • Typing speed of 20+ words per minute
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
