Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Payments Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Extract and validate the collection file, ensuring up-to-date and accurate details.
  2. Post payments in the system.
  3. Reconciliation and Analysis:
  4. Analyze payment discrepancies versus due premiums for proper allocation of payments.
  5. Analyze payments and perform timely clean-up of over-the-counter payments.
  6. Ensure timely posting of transactions.
  7. Send follow-ups for additional requirements (e.g., proof of filiation).
  8. Customer Centricity:
  9. Respond to queries and concerns from intermediaries, assureds, distribution channels, brokers, and other departments.
  10. Process Improvements:
  11. Recommend improvements to address procedural errors, delays, and enhance service efficiency.
  12. AMLA Compliance:
  13. Perform functions related to AMLA compliance.
  14. Conduct third-party validations – AMLA.
  15. Flag large cash payments (at least Php 100k) to legal and compliance departments.
  16. Others:
  17. Participate in ad hoc projects for system and process improvements, if assigned.
  18. Perform other related tasks as assigned from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • College graduate, preferably with a background in business-related courses.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Preferably with 2 years of working experience in payments processing.
  • Proficient in oral and written communication.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
