Job Summary:
The Software Deployment Expert will oversee the planning, rollout, and successful deployment of software releases into live environments. They will collaborate closely with project managers, delivery managers, developers, and clients to ensure technical validation and smooth execution of software deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute software deployments in controlled environments.
- Ensure end-to-end accountability for the successful deployment of software releases into live environments.
- Collaborate with specialists from different areas for cross-functional activities.
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Document and educate users on software release, configuration, DevOps, and deployment management best practices.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in release management and/or configuration management in the financial services industry.
- Experience with Unix, Oracle, SQL, Jenkins, Artifactory, Nexus, Gerrit, Bitbucket, or other source control management tools.
- Ability to analyze technical problems and automate recurring administrative tasks.
- Conflict resolution, stakeholder management, experience in multicultural matrix teams.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
