Senior Salesforce Developer

Job Description:

The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying custom Salesforce solutions. This role works closely with platform administrators, business analysts, and managed services to deliver scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design and develop Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components and Visualforce pages
  • Build and maintain custom API integrations with external platforms
  • Ensure adherence to governor limits and Salesforce best practices
  • Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code coverage and quality
  • Assist in testing and deployment planning for code releases
  • Collaborate with Administrator to validate functionality during user acceptance testing
  • Support DevOps practices such as version control, CI/CD, and deployment tools
  • Participate in technical design sessions with administrator, analysts, and managed services
  • Translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions
  • Contribute to solution architecture and reusable component frameworks
  • Maintain technical documentation and code comments
  • Participate in platform governance, design reviews, and standards enforcement
  • Assist in performance optimization and troubleshooting
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • Proficient in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and integration patterns
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Familiarity with Git, Copado, or other CI/CD tools
  • Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ServiceNow
  • Experience with Dev/Ops release tools, integration platforms, and ITSM systems
  • Proficient in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes including incident, request, and change management workflows
  • Ability to learn quickly (business processes, technologies specific to project, etc.)
  • Highly self-motivated and directed
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
